Tee Times

First and last name, telephone number, email and a valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard & AmEx) are required for all tee times and all online reservations. Please call

(252) 491-8388 or  visit our online reservations platform to reserve your time. All players are required to have their own set of clubs. Rental clubs available.

Cancellations/No Shows

Golf courses, including ours, cannot sustain golfers not honoring their tee time with all the players reserved. Showing with less golfers than reserved, or not showing at all, costs every golf course the opportunity to sell that finite tee time to other desiring golfers, and this revenue. If you need to cancel your time, or if you need to reduce the number of players, we require 48 hours notice. Please carefully review the email and text tee time reminders, as failure to give adequate notice may result in a $35 per player penalty charge.

Golf Carts

Golf cart operators must be at least 16 years of age and possess a legal driver’s license. All golf cart operators are responsible for any and all damages to The Pointe Golf Club property, including golf carts.

Pace of Play

All groups are expected to play in accordance with our pace of play requirements for that particular day. Groups that are unable to keep up with the group in front will be asked to skip hole(s) to get back into position. Early morning groups utilizing our “Fast Play” tee times should be able to play our course in under 4 hours (3 ½ - 3 ¾). “Fast Play” tee times vary throughout the year based on daylight/course opening hours.

*Early morning "Fast Play" slots are not available on double tee start days (Monday-Thursday, mid-June thru mid-Aug). Lead groups off each side that play their first 9-holes in under 2 hours will incur a wait at the turn, before starting their second 9-holes. Our double tee starts are scheduled and set up for approximately 2 hours per side. Although this doesn’t allow fast groups to speed around the course, it should result in our goal of about a 4-4 ¼ hour experience.

During the summer season, if you are an early morning golfer/group looking to play quickly, and our double tee start schedule doesn’t work for your needs, please visit us Friday-Sunday on single tee start days. Also, our sister course, Carolina Club, uses single tee starts daily.

Memberships/Pass Programs

Members & Pass Holders who are part of a group whose tee time reservation is made outside of the program parameters will not receive program benefits and will pay the applicable daily rate.

Rain Policy

Being on the coast and surrounded by a lot of water, the weather patterns in our area can vary greatly within a few miles. If inclement weather is forecasted, please check with our golf shop staff for current weather for our exact location. Unless the golf course is closed due to excessive rain or lightning, tee times are to be honored unless adequate notice is given to cancel. In the case of inclement weather, golfers may have the option to pay for 9-holes to start. Rainchecks may be issued based on the number of holes the golfers completed before stopping and the rate paid. Rainchecks never expire. No refunds will be issued once a group tees off.

Dress Code

In keeping with the tradition of the game, we ask that all golfers follow the Club’s dress code (including use of the practice facility). Men’s shirts must have a collar or mock neck. Ladies’ shirts that have a collar may be sleeveless; if the shirt does not have a collar, it must have sleeves. Slacks, or shorts of bermuda length are preferred; nice denim is accepted and is subject to approval by our staff. No tank top or sleeveless athletic shirts, cut off shorts, bathing suits, running shorts, etc. Soft spikes, sneakers, or flat-soled shoes are required.

Coolers

Due to North Carolina State ABC regulations, The Pointe Golf Club does not permit consumption of outside alcohol and the use of personal or private coolers on golf course property.
